Zombie Crisis: Director's Cut - Development Log #05-18-2025


Work continues to progress well on Zombie Crisis: Director's Cut. I just finished adding a new enemy, a soldier, to the game which should help keep gameplay more varied and interesting. Weapons have been finalized and feel great, new civilian zombie enemy offers variety and an additional challenge and just about all coding has been completed I'm just now going through all the gamedata to ensure everything is in order for a smooth experience.

Our new level designer is currently going through the original release maps to update and remaster them with the new additions from the Director's Cut and is coming along well. We should be starting full scale playtesting in a few weeks once levels have been touched up and any remaining art or code is completed.

I'm looking forward to showing off what I've been able to come up with for this quality of life update and Director's Cut to the original release, it expands and enhances the original in just about every possible area. Stay tuned to Blue Sky, Moddb, Indiedb and our website for the latest information as it becomes available!
